Terry and Tricia Jones
Terry and Tricia Jones received the Outstanding Achievement Award. The iconic couple were honoured for their tremendous contribution to the fashion industry on 2nd December.
Terry studied Commercial Art at the West of England College of Art in Bristol. After assisting graphic designer Ivan Dodd, in 1977 the 27-year-old was hired as the art director of British Vogue where he worked for five years. Terry founded i-D in 1980 with his wife Tricia, an infant school teacher, as a 40-page, hand stapled fanzine.

Kate Moss was honoured on the evening by receiving the Special Recognition Award for her remarkable 25 year-long career and continued influence on the fashion industry as the fashion icon of her generation on 2nd December.
Kate’s hugely successful career began in 1987 when she was discovered in New York by Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Model Management. Today, her career continues to surprise and delight both the fashion industry and her fans.
Kate has collaborated to create some of the most celebrated and iconic fashion photography, and she remains an inspiration to designers, photographers and artists.

Suzy Menkes
Suzy Menkes was honoured at the British Fashion Awards 2013 with a Special Recognition award for her remarkable 25 year-long career at the International Herald Tribune.
Suzy joined the IHT in 1988 and holds the position of International Fashion Editor. She is much loved and respected by fashion houses, designers and fashion media alike. A graduate of Cambridge University, where she was the university newspaper’s first female editor, she has previously worked for The Times, The London Evening Standard and the Independent. Suzy holds the Legion d’Honneur in France and a British OBE.
