As the co-founder of Dazed Media, with a portfolio that includes some of the world’s most influential media brands including AnOther Magazine, Dazed, Dazed Beauty and NOWNESS as well as Dazed Studio, Hack is directly responsible not only for curating culture but building bigger futures for so many people he crosses paths with.

Recognises an emerging designer from those receiving support from the BFC Foundation in this year who over the last 12 months has had a major creative impact on global fashion. This includes the NEWGEN recipients, the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner and shortlist, the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund winner and shortlist and the BFC Fashion Trust recipients.

Metaverse World & Gaming Experience Award

Burberry will be awarded for its significant innovation and experimentation within the Metaverse World in the past 12 months and for pushing the boundaries to showcase excellence in this space. This Award was voted for by a global panel of industry experts who specifically credited the Burberry x Blankos Block Party and Burberry x Minecraft experiences.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Yvon Chouinard is recognised for his extraordinary dedication to environmentalism and his exceptional vision. His ability to merge business with purpose culminated this year in the transfer of his family’s ownership of the brand to two new entities: the Patagonia Purpose Trust and non-profit organisation the Holdfast Collective, to channel profits to environmental causes.

The 2021 accolades include fifteen Leaders of Change; the designers, brands, creatives, and individuals who created positive change within the fashion industry this past year under three categories: Environment, People and Creativity. These will be announced on Monday 29th November 2021.

The category recognises designers and brands who made a global impact in the past years through their creativity in design, campaigns, collaborations and firm business foundation as well as defined the shape of global fashion.
